Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Perform Open-Heart Surgeries, including Valve Repairs/Replacements and Simple Congenital Procedures. Perform Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgeries, both Elective and Emergency. Conduct Thoracic Surgeries involving Lungs, Mediastinum, Esophagus and Chest Wall. Evaluate patients and determine surgical/medical treatment approach. Establish & Maintain CTVS ICU. Provide pre-operative optimization and post-operative care to ensure best outcomes. Manage ICU-based postoperative patients and respond promptly to critical situations. Conduct detailed consultations and explain procedures, benefits, and risks. Manage complex cardiac and thoracic emergencies, ensuring timely intervention. Ensure compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric care. Perform Vascular Surgeries.

Preferred candidate profile-

MBBS + MS (General Surgery) + MCh/DNB (Cardiothoracic Surgery). Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery. Mandatory hands-on experience in Open-Heart Surgery & CABG procedures. Valid medical registration and licenses. Excellent analytical, clinical, and communication skills. Ability to manage emergencies and high-risk surgeries

Competencies

Experience in minimally invasive or robotic cardiothoracic procedures. Strong decision-making and leadership abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
