The Cardiologist specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing heart and cardiovascular system disorders, providing both medical and interventional care.
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
Perform diagnostic tests (ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, angiography, etc.).
Provide interventional procedures like angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.
Collaborate with surgeons for complex cardiac cases.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive cardiac care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality standards.
Qualifications Required
MBBS with MD in General Medicine and DM/DNB in Cardiology.
Valid medical license and registration with the medical council.
Proven clinical experience in cardiology and interventional procedures.
Skills Needed
Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in interventional and non-invasive cardiology techniques.
Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergencies.
