Position Summary



Consultant - Assets & Alliances - USI Global Risk Advisory About the Team The Global Advisory team is responsible for providing strategic leverage to Global Financial & Risk Advisory Leaders to implement a long-term vision and meet overall business revenue aspirations. The team is responsible for building our Global Financial & Risk Advisory footprint in key geographies and working to remove barriers for seamless global client service delivery. The team will help to increase our ability to better serve the needs of our most important clients, facilitate growth in client relationships, help prioritize investments, and enhance talent experience. The positions are long-term leadership support roles, with opportunities to grow as the Global Office expands. The team sits within the Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd function of the firm. Work you’ll do
  • Support the Global Advisory leadership team in developing and implementing various short and long-term strategies
  • Critically evaluate the information from multiple sources, decompose high–level information into details, and consolidate low-level information to a general understanding
  • Support development of internal client, revenue, and operational plans
  • Support development of executive leadership presentation (PowerPoint etc.) materials for executive communications
  • Gather requirements to design and develop the deliverables based on internal client needs
  • Proactively provide suggestions to enhance deliverables and document the deliverable workflow steps as required
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders to complete assigned tasks
  • Produce on time, high quality, client-ready deliverables
  • Report/work under the leadership of a Manager/Assistant Manager, USI
  • Share expertise by conducting knowledge sharing sessions with the team
Key objectives include:
  • Enhance the client experience through research, analysis, and presentations
  • Simplify processes, reduce latency and remove barriers
  • Enable a flexible, mobile, and consistent global workforce
  • Serve Advisory internal clients with seamless global delivery and expand market opportunities in other countries
  • Play a key role in issue resolution and mediation related to asset sharing across MFs, and support throughout the asset export/globalization process
  • Promoting connectivity, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration through the asset owner community and ecosystem
  • Ideating and coming up with ways to improve the current asset import/export processes/understand and drive necessary co-ordination
  • Improving visibility into and awareness of GRA assets at large: Develop/design content and choose appropriate channels/communication forms to socialize assets amongst a relevant audience
  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships within the assets & alliance larger team as well as with asset owners, member firms, other businesses and enabling areas to drive necessary growth
  • Excellent networking skills with preferred cross-cultural experience to connect with a diverse range of asset owners/experts from across the globe
  • Experience/high degree of awareness related to latest technology trends across broader domains such as cloud, analytics, robotics, blockchain, IoT, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on portions of multiple projects, often working in a high pace environment with the endurance, responsiveness, and flexibility to work through iterations and quickly adapt to varying priorities
Qualifications Required:
  • MBA preferred; Other relevant Master’s degrees and/or certifications will also be considered
  • 2-6 years of work experience
  • Experience analyzing large data sets to produce clear, insightful, and concise executive-level reports
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate complex concepts into concise summaries
  • Experience in creating presentation materials (PowerPoint, Excel reports & summaries, Tableau dashboards, etc.) for the senior leadership
  • Strong storyboarding skills will be an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of the financial statements and analysis of key financial, operational indicators
  • Strong analytical (both quantitative and qualitative), problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Proven ability to execute multiple deliverables concurrently
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethics
  • Extremely strong verbal and written English communication skills
Additional competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team setting
  • Comfortable communicating to audiences at various levels (e.g., staff through leadership)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, address challenges effectively and be adaptable to change
  • Experience developing Industry/Sector Snapshots, Company Profiles, Executive Bios, etc.
  • Conceptual knowledge on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and its life cycle, Valuation & Modelling, Corporate Finance
  • Exposure to secondary research and familiarity with tools like Hoover, OneSource, Factiva is a plus
  • Understanding the pre-sales, marketing and business development in a professional services environment is a plus
  • Project Management exposure
