About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Backend Engineer

with strong expertise in

Django, Django Rest Framework, Django Ninja, FastAPI

, and deep experience in

cloud-native application development on AWS

. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems, leading technical design, and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain

high-quality backend services

using

Python, Django, Django REST Framework, Django Ninja, and FastAPI

. Architect and optimize

RESTful APIs and microservices

for high-availability systems. Build and manage

asynchronous task processing

using

Celery and RabbitMQ

. Design and optimize

relational and NoSQL databases

including

PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB

. Develop and manage

event-driven and serverless architectures

using: AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SES, AWS Batch, EC2, S3, ECR Implement

CI/CD pipelines

, manage source control with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Ensure

application security, performance tuning, and cost optimization

. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders using

Agile/Scrum

and

Jira methodologies

. Conduct

code reviews, technical documentation

and mentoring of junior developers Lead

production deployments, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting

Required Technical Skills

Backend Frameworks: Django, Django REST Framework, Django Ninja, FastAPI Programming Language: Python (Strong OOP, async programming, design patterns) Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB Cloud & DevOps: AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, EC2, SQS, SES, Batch, ECR) Message Queues & Async Processing: Celery, RabbitMQ Version Control & Collaboration: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Project Management & Process: Jira, Agile/Scrum Methodologies
