Role Overview:


We are looking for committed, skilled, and patient-centric

Consultants and Associate Consultants - Cardiology

to join our leading multi- and super-specialty hospitals. This role is ideal for dynamic professionals passionate about cardiovascular health, offering opportunities across clinical, interventional, and preventive cardiology. The selected candidates will be instrumental in delivering high-quality cardiac care in alignment with the latest evidence-based medical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cardiovascular Evaluation & Clinical Management


Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting advanced cardiac investigations (ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter, etc.).
Diagnose and manage conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular and congenital heart diseases.
Design individualized treatment plans integrating pharmacological, lifestyle, and interventional approaches as necessary.

Interventional & Non-Invasive Cardiology

For Interventional Cardiologists: Conduct cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stenting, and related invasive procedures with a focus on safety and precision.For Non-Invasive/Clinical Cardiologists: Focus on outpatient/inpatient care, long-term management of chronic cardiovascular diseases, and preventive strategies.

Emergency Response & Critical Care


Lead and manage acute cardiac emergencies including myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and hypertensive crises.
Work collaboratively with emergency medicine, ICU, and surgical teams for advanced life support and post-acute management.

Patient Education & Preventive Care


Counsel patients and caregivers on condition management, medication adherence, dietary adjustments, and heart-healthy lifestyles.
Support cardiac rehabilitation programs and follow-up protocols to enhance recovery and reduce readmission risk.

Collaboration & Institutional Contribution


Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, tumor boards (if applicable), and cross-specialty case discussions.
Provide mentorship to junior doctors, interns, or fellows as part of the institution's teaching framework.

Documentation & Quality Assurance


Ensure timely, accurate, and EMR-compliant documentation of consultations, procedures, outcomes, and discharge summaries.
Contribute to clinical audits, mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with hospital policies.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:


DM or DNB in Cardiology from a recognized medical institution.
At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience post-specialization.
Expertise in diagnostic cardiology and/or interventional procedures depending on specialization.
Valid medical registration with MCI or relevant State Medical Council.

Key Competencies:


Sound clinical judgment and diagnostic acumen in complex cardiac cases.
Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure clinical settings with composure and accuracy.
Proficient in using digital health systems, PACS, and EMR software.

Preferred Attributes:


Prior experience in NABH-accredited or tertiary care institutions.
Exposure to cardiac electrophysiology, device implantation, or structural interventions is a plus.
Inclination towards academic contribution, research, or CME participation.
