Job Summary

The Anesthesiologist is responsible for administering anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. They monitor vital signs and make critical decisions during surgery and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

:

Evaluate patients' medical histories to determine the appropriate anesthetic plan Administer local, regional, or general anesthesia as required Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia Adjust anesthetic levels as needed during surgical procedures Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management or resuscitation Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation Educate patients and families about anesthesia-related procedures and post-op care Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesiology

Qualifications

:

MBBS with MD/DNB/DA in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution Valid medical registration/license (MCI/State Medical Council) Certification in ACLS/BLS preferred Experience in ICU/OT/emergency setups is an advantage
