- Job Title: Consultant - Anesthesiology (Pain Management)- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana- Organization: Corporate Pain Management Center- Department: Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine- Reporting To: Medical Director/Chief Pain SpecialistJob Summary:The Consultant - Anesthesiology will be responsible for providing expert anesthesia and pain management services to patients with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain. The role involves interventional pain procedures, perioperative anesthesia care, patient counseling, and participation in multidisciplinary pain management programs in a corporate healthcare setting.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and optimize patients for pain procedures or surgeries.- Administer anesthesia and sedation for interventional pain procedures (e.g., nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, etc.).- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pain management procedures under ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance.- Develop individualized pain management plans in collaboration with physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists.- Monitor patients intra- and post-procedure to ensure safety and effective pain control.- Maintain accurate medical records, informed consents, and documentation as per institutional and NABH standards.- Participate in CME programs, workshops, and research initiatives related to pain medicine and anesthesia.- Supervise and train junior doctors, nurses, and technicians in anesthesia and pain management protocols.- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.- Provide emergency anesthesia support as needed within the facility.Qualifications & Experience:- Education: MD / DNB / DA in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.Experience:- Minimum 1- 5 years post-PG experience preferred.- Experience in interventional pain management, day-care anesthesia, or critical care is desirable.- Licensure: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.- Certifications (Preferred): Fellowship / Diploma in Pain Medicine / Regional Anesthesia (optional but advantageous).Key Skills & Competencies:- Expertise in regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided interventions.- Sound clinical judgment and patient management skills.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and continuous learning.- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.Employment Type:- Full-time / Consultant (as per organization policy)Remuneration:- Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
