Assess patients before surgery to evaluate anesthesia needs, medical history, and potential risks.
Administer various types of anesthesia (general, regional, local, or sedation) tailored to each procedure and patient.
Monitor vital signs and patient condition during surgery, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.
Manage pain relief and consciousness levels throughout procedures.
Provide post-operative care including pain management and monitoring for complications.
Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and complications.
Work with surgical and nursing teams to plan safe anesthetic approaches.
Keep accurate documentation of anesthetic procedures, medications, and patient responses.
