Anaesthetist:Preoperative Assessment: Evaluate patients before surgery to assess their medical history, current health status, and anesthesia needs Anesthesia Administration: Administer anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures, monitor their vital signs, and ensure their comfort and safety Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' responses to anesthesia, adjusting dosages as necessary to maintain their well-being Airway Management: Ensure the patient's airway is clear and manage any complications that may arise during surgery, such as intubation or extubation Pain Management: Administer pain relief measures to patients post-surgery and manage their pain throughout the recovery period Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for the patient's well-being during surgery, working closely with the surgical team Junior Intensivist:Critical Care Management: Provide care and medical management to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions, often involving multiple organ systems, and make decisions regarding life support measures Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and responses to treatment Ventilator Management: Oversee mechanical ventilation for patients with respiratory failure, adjusting settings and troubleshooting issues as needed Medication Management: Administer and adjust medications, such as vasoactive drugs and antibiotics, as well as address pain management in critically ill patients
