About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced
HR & Admin Manager
from a
construction contractor background
to manage workforce operations for multiple under-construction projects across Bangalore and NCR. The role is critical in ensuring
timely manpower mobilization, subcontractor/vendor coordination, compliance management, and seamless site HR operations
.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Deployment
Recruit and deploy skilled and unskilled workforce (mason, bar-bender, carpenter, helper, etc.).
Build and maintain a steady labor pool to meet urgent and planned project requirements.
Liaise with local contractors/labor suppliers to ensure continuous manpower availability.
2. Attendance & Compliance
Maintain accurate attendance and worker records across sites.
Oversee wages, PF/ESI, labor contracts, insurance, and compliance audits.
Ensure zero non-compliance across projects during client or statutory audits.
3. Workforce & Subcontractor Management
Handle workforce allocation and planning for 500+ blue-collar workers across multiple sites.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for billing, workforce planning, and dispute resolution.
Conduct regular site visits to engage with workers, supervisors, and contractors.
4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as HR point of contact for project managers, clients, and execution heads.
Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and workforce reviews for senior management.
Support client review meetings with accurate data and compliance reports.
5. Team & Policy Management
Lead site-level HR/Admin staff, ensuring adherence to company HR policies.
Conduct worker training sessions on safety, compliance, and site rules.
Resolve conflicts, boost morale, and ensure smooth workforce engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
5+ years' HR/Admin experience
in construction/contracting/infrastructure sector.
Proven experience in
mobilization & workforce planning for 500+ workers
across multiple sites.
Strong knowledge of
labor laws, PF, ESI, insurance, contracts, and statutory compliance
.
Subcontractor/vendor management expertise with billing and dispute-handling experience.
Proficiency in
Hindi & English
(Kannada preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in
MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
.
