A Snapshot of Your Day
The Construction Site Safety - Senior Professional (P3) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure a safe working environment at the construction site. This position requires analyzing safety concerns, suggesting solutions, carrying out investigations, and communicating with regulatory bodies and collaborators to maintain the organization's safety standards and professional reputation.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Create, implement, and manage comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs for all employees at the construction site.
• Regularly evaluate existing safety programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify and analyze potential safety hazards and risks at the site.
• Recommend corrective and preventive measures to the appropriate manager to address identified issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the construction site to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and value of site safety programs, finding opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate site accidents, incidents, and near-miss events, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis.
• Provide recommendations to prevent recurrence and support any potential litigation processes.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and industry peers to enhance the organization's professional image.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and industry-specific safety regulations.
• Conduct safety orientation sessions and regular training programs for site employees.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all project team members.

What You Bring

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing safety programs and conducting site inspections.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, management, and external partners.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
