Job Description

Role Purpose:


Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at construction sites by enforcing statutory compliance, implementing HSE plans, conducting inspections, and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:



Ensure compliance with BOCW Act, Factories Act, Environmental & Safety laws. Develop & implement HSE plans, risk assessments, and emergency response plans. Conduct daily site inspections, enforce PPE usage, and monitor critical activities. Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs. Investigate incidents/near misses, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions. Maintain statutory registers, safety documentation, and submit MIS reports.

Qualifications:



Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental). Mandatory: Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (DGFASLI, Govt. of India). Preferred: NEBOSH / IOSH certifications. Experience: 3-7 years in construction site safety.

Skills:



Knowledge of Indian safety regulations & international standards (OSHA/ISO 45001). Strong communication, training, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office for safety reporting.

Work Conditions:



Site-based role with travel across India. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours.
