A Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects from start to finish. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Supervise on-site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Manage project risks, delays, and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available as needed.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Conduct inspections and oversee project handover.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Work Environment:
Primarily site-based with regular office coordination.
May require extended hours to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
