Job Summary:



As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee our precast construction projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of precast construction projects. This includes overseeing resources, schedules, financials, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the precast construction industry and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:



1. Project Planning and Coordination:

The role requires spending approximately 50% of the working schedule at the office and 50% at the factory.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, production schedules, and resource allocation strategies, considering QS input for cost analysis.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Obtain access to all ongoing projects and their associated drawings.

Dedicate every Friday to a full-day factory visit.

2. Team Management:

Manage the team of Assistant Project Managers.

Conduct regular follow-ups from architect team, site installation team, structural consultant and make sure all drawings reach the factory in given time line.

Issue production instructions for all ongoing projects to the Factory Head, Mr. Piyush.

3. Precast Construction Management:

Oversee the production and installation of precast concrete elements.

Ensure that all precast components meet quality and structural requirements.

Coordinate logistics for the transportation and installation of precast elements.

4. Resource Management:

Collaborate closely with a Quantity Surveyor to accurately estimate project costs.

Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Oversee inventory of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to manage costs.

Oversee and manage petty cash for factory-related expenses.

5. Communication and Reporting:

Regularly provide project updates and address any concerns to the Production Director, Mr. Pritesh. Additionally, share verbal updates with Mr. Naitik on a need-to-know basis.

Maintain clear and effective communication and coordination with R&D department, architect, stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.

Facilitate meetings to discuss project status, resolve issues, and plan for upcoming phases.

6. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Make informed decisions to keep projects on track and within scope.

Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during construction.

Conduct site visits as needed or coordinate with assistant project managers to handle them.

Qualifications:



1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in construction project management, specifically in precast construction.

3. Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects successfully.

4. Strong knowledge of precast construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

6. Strong leadership and team management abilities.

7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

9. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:



1. Full-time position, in an office environment, with occasional site visits to the factory.

2. May require occasional overtime.

3. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

4. Personal laptop is essential for this role.
