A medical officer having working experiencing in organization establishments involved in policy, execution and advice and safety and health of workers employed in mines, ports and docks, factories and building and other construction work, for a period of not less than three years may, subject to the satisfaction of the director general, not be required to possessing the training
1. To Identify occupational health risks
2. To Advice workers on health-related risks
3. To Review of Medical checkup reports
4. To Guide the workers on local language
5. To Suggest alternate works based on the medical reports
6. To Maintain the register of employee's heath records
7. To Conduct random medical health check-up for workers
8. Review medical reports (Pre employment and employment health check up reports, conducted as per frequency defined by BOCW rules and Customer Rules.
9. Create Awareness on Occupational Health requirements
10. Issuing Fitness Certificate
