Job description:
1. Supervise and manage all tunneling operations during the assigned shift, including excavation, ring building, muck disposal, and related mining activities.

2. Lead and coordinate operators, technicians, and workforce to ensure smooth, continuous TBM and tunneling operations.

3. Monitor real-time conditions and resolve operational challenges such as unexpected geology, equipment issues, or supply delays.

4. Maintain accurate shift logs on progress, resources, incidents, and report to the Senior Tunnel Manager.

5. Coordinate with logistics, maintenance, and subcontractor teams to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials, equipment, and services.

6. Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign responsibilities, and ensure effective communication within the team.

7. Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards through routine safety checks and compliance monitoring.

8. Apply working knowledge of tunneling equipment, geotechnical basics, and construction methodologies to support effective decision-making.

9. Manage shift resources efficiently to achieve production targets and maintain smooth TBM/tunneling workflow.
