Construction Manager -Execution

1 Ensure Execution through identified agencies (of respective areas), disciplines under quality , time during construction stage


2 To analyze the possible areas of work that may result in time overrun - suggest corrective steps and advise Project manager.


3 To maintain strict quality control to avoid reworks.


4 Study and inputs to master schedule - Monitoring & tracking


5 Prepare and Review progress through area schedules and look ahead schedules.


6 To co-ordinate with consultants for smooth flow of drawings & details in time.


7 Regularly brief the team to ensure no communication gap. Review and develop action plan to resolve pending issues.


8 Inward material verification - ensure conformance to specifications - Reject in case of violations etc


9 To review and approve the Method Satements , Conduct Qaulity audit & quality report,


10 To educate contractors on the aspects of checking - before the activity starts


11 Suggest at site level improvement / techniques to achieve a better product.


12 As-built drawings from vendors / contractors and submission to client.


13 Coordinate with the other package contractors for the smooth coordination of works


14 Hold Daily Site meetings and site walkthroughs, with vendors to ensure and review progress , safety and quality issues


15 To follow and implement method statements & checklists for every activities of execution.


16 Clearing of checklists at Site as earliest without affecting the progress of work


17 To maintain a works diary showing all the day to day details of the particular building / area assigned


18 Identify change / variation with reson and inform to Planning


19 Forward Updated Site Activity Monitoring Sheet (showing actual vs scheduled progress) & Site Images every Saturday


20 Prepare ,Update & closure of Snag Lists for all the work packages as per Specs & Drawings


21 To ensure contractor , conduct periodical test of materials/witness and record the same.


22 To co-ordinate for feed back from facility management team during completion and hand over.
