Job Title: Construction Manager Electrical (Substation / Oil & Gas)

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the construction and installation of electrical systems for HV/MV substations, switchyards, and oil & gas facilities.
Manage and coordinate daily construction activities at the site including subcontractor supervision, labor planning, and vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE), and oil & gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME).
Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control wiring drawings.
Monitor the installation of transformers, GIS/AIS systems, switchgear, cabling, protection & control panels.
Collaborate with design, procurement, QA/QC, and commissioning teams.
Identify and resolve technical and construction issues on-site.
Ensure timely project completion while controlling cost and scope.
Conduct regular inspections, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 12+ years of construction management experience, with at least 4 years in electrical substation or oil & gas projects.
