Develop detailed plans, establish timelines, and define project objectives and scope.
Budget management:
Create and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs to ensure the project stays within the allocated budget.
Scheduling:
Create and manage project schedules, coordinate the work of various trades, and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion.
Site supervision:
Oversee daily activities on the construction site, supervise the labor force and subcontractors, and ensure quality control by inspecting work and materials.
Safety and compliance:
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, conduct site inspections, and ensure the project complies with all building codes, regulations, and permits.
Stakeholder communication:
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Report on project status, attend meetings, and resolve any issues that arise.
Resource and contract management:
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies. Manage contracts and coordinate with the legal department for contract development and negotiation.
