Topsia, Kolkata - Residential Flat Construction Site
Role Overview
On-site labourers will support the construction team in day-to-day activities at the flat construction site. The role involves manual work, assisting skilled workers, and ensuring smooth progress of construction operations under the supervision of site engineers and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials such as cement, bricks, sand, and steel.
Site Preparation:
Assist in clearing debris, preparing foundations, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
Support to Skilled Workers:
Provide assistance to masons, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians as required.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, wear protective gear, and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Housekeeping:
Keep the site clean and organized to avoid accidents and ensure efficiency.
Inventory Assistance:
Help in storing and arranging construction materials properly.
Timely Execution:
Carry out assigned tasks promptly to meet project deadlines.
Skills & Requirements
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
Basic understanding of construction site practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and flexible hours.
Prior experience in construction labour preferred but not mandatory.
Reporting

Site Supervisor/Engineer

Works in coordination with skilled tradesmen and other labour staff.
