Role Objective:
To source and supply skilled construction workers--primarily
Sariya (Rebar)
and
Shuttering workers
--from towns and villages in Jharkhand and Bihar for deployment to construction sites across India. The role requires end-to-end coordination of worker identification, documentation, mobilization, and on-ground support. Candidates should have strong local networks, a field-focused mindset, and an understanding of the construction labour ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a reliable pipeline of Sariya and Shuttering workers through field visits, village outreach, and engagement with local contractors (Thekedars).
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and labour sources to ensure consistent worker availability.
Register workers with Bandhoo and assist them with completing required documentation (ID, skill level, experience history).
Work closely with Admin and Operations teams to coordinate logistics and mobilization plans.
Track sourcing and mobilization data using Google Sheets or mobile-based tools.
Provide regular field reports on sourcing activities, worker availability, and outreach results.
Address and resolve field-level issues, concerns, or escalations in collaboration with internal teams.
Represent Bandhoo professionally in local communities and maintain strong rapport with workers and their families.
Share ongoing insights on wage trends, skill gaps, and expectations from the field.
Key Requirements:
Graduate or Diploma holder (Civil Engineering preferred).
2-5 years of experience in construction labour sourcing, manpower coordination, or site supervision.
Prior experience working with contractors, construction companies, or manpower vendors.
Understanding of HR basics and labour law compliance preferred.
Strong communication skills in Hindi and local dialects.
Familiarity with construction work, especially Rebar (Sariya) and Shuttering.
Comfortable using digital tools like Google Sheets or mobile apps for record-keeping.
Willing to travel extensively in rural and semi-urban areas.

Preferred Background:
Worked directly with labour contractors or at construction sites.
Experience in mobilizing 100+ construction workers for large-scale projects.
Basic understanding of labour compliance, onboarding, and worker welfare.
Compensation:
?3 - ?5 LPA (Based on experience and profile)
