The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale residential or commercial high-rise constructions (G+20 and above), strong leadership skills, and deep technical knowledge of modern construction methods and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
:
Project Planning and Execution
Lead the entire construction lifecycle from foundation to handover.
Coordinate with design, architecture, MEP, and structural teams for seamless integration.
Review and approve construction schedules, methods, and sequences.
Progress and Quality Monitoring
Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and codes.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
Team and Contractor Management
Supervise site engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors.
Allocate resources and assign responsibilities across teams.
Resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
Technical Oversight
Ensure compliance with structural, architectural, and safety norms.
Review design and technical drawings and ensure their execution.
Approve and inspect work related to RCC, finishing, facade, and MEP installations.
Budget and Cost Control
Track material consumption and labor costs.
Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Mitigate cost overruns through proactive planning and vendor management.
Safety and Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and ensure zero-incident execution.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (labor laws, environmental norms, etc.).
Stakeholder Communication
Regularly update senior management on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and government authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
15-20 years of experience in managing high-rise construction projects (minimum 2-3 completed towers G+20 or above).
Strong knowledge of modern construction techniques, materials, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS) and local building codes.
