Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and manage all phases of high-rise construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and budgets.
Technical Leadership
Apply civil engineering principles to resolve complex construction challenges for vertical projects.
Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Oversee integration of structural, MEP, and other building systems.
Quality & Safety Management
Implement and enforce safety protocols for high-rise environments.
Conduct quality inspections and coordinate with QA teams.
Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies specific to vertical construction.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve project challenges.
Manage change orders, contract modifications, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Certifications in Construction Management (CCM, PMP) preferred.
Experience
8-15 years of construction management experience in high-rise buildings.
Background in commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in software like Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permits.
Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
Knowledge of crane operations, concrete pumping, curtain wall systems, structural steel, and concrete methods.
