Review the accuracy of the reporting packages delivered by entities for the consolidation process and identify ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness according to Group IFRS accounting rules.
Elaboration of Consolidated Financial Statements (analysis of a part of the balance sheet, income statement and/or cash flow) and preparation of the quarterly earnings release, semi and annual reports like 20F for US filing & CSSF for European filing
Close liaison with the various cross-functional departments (compliance, controlling, treasury, tax, investor relations, M&A).
Primary contact for group external auditors - preparation of necessary internal Sox supports.
Participation in various projects launched from time to time at Group Accounting and Performance Management (GAPM) like local balance sheet reviews, managing accounts volatility, etc.
Technical support to financial managers - IFRS
Master in Finance / Accounting
ACCA qualification desirable
Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (ACCA qualified)
Knowledge of the \xe2\x80\x9cBPM\xe2\x80\x9d reporting tool (SAP Financial consolidation) is a plus
Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can work independently, but also work as part of a team. Must be self-motivated, well organized and a demonstrated problem solver.
Ability to work under time pressure, strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize
5-10 years of accounting experience with IFRS standard required (to be demonstrated during the interview) audit background and/or consolidation are a plus.
