invites applications for engaging Conservation Biologist for the projects \xe2\x80\x93 \xe2\x80\x9cVulture Safe Zone\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cVulture Release
Project\xe2\x80\x9d in Vidarbha Region, Maharashtra.
Essential and Desirable qualifications are as follows:
1. Position Conservation Biologist 2 Emoluments Rs. 35,000 CTS per month plus Personal Accident Policy. A higher start
could be considered for a candidate with a two-year of experience in
working ecological projects. 3 Duration Initially for one year. The contract could be renewed if the
performance of the candidate is found satisfactory 4 Type of engagement Professional Contract 5 Desirable \xe2\x80\xa2 The candidate should be a post-graduate in any of the mentioned
disciplines \xe2\x80\x93 Zoology. Life Sciences, Wildlife Biology, Conservation
Biology, Wildlife Science.
- Candidates pursuing their Ph.D. will not be considered.
- The candidate preferably should have a driving license for two and
- Estimating food availability and habitat for vultures
- Monitoring prevalence of veterinary drugs in pharmacies and
- Carrying out advocacy programmes for vulture conservation with
communities and other stakeholders.
The work may involve extensive travelling. 8 Age Limit The candidate should not be more than 32 years of age on the date of
application.
