Job Description

The Confectioner is responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of desserts, pastries, and confectionery items. The role ensures high-quality standards, creative presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Preparation

Prepare cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates, and other desserts as per recipes. Develop and test new confectionery recipes to enhance the menu. Ensure taste, texture, and appearance meet established quality standards.

2. Decoration & Presentation

Decorate baked goods using icing, fondant, glazes, and other decorative elements. Maintain creativity and consistency in presentation for display and events.

3. Inventory & Equipment Handling

Maintain adequate stock of ingredients and baking supplies. Operate ovens, mixers, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor ingredient freshness and storage conditions.

4. Hygiene & Safety

Follow HACCP and FSSAI guidelines for food safety and sanitation. Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area and tools. Ensure proper labeling, temperature control, and waste management.

5. Teamwork & Coordination

Work closely with chefs and service teams for event requirements. Assist in training junior staff or apprentices when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Confectionery or Culinary Arts. 2-5 years of experience in bakery or confectionery production. Strong creativity and attention to detail. Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and decoration methods. Time management and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
