Details of the role and team:

You will support the Chief Conduct, Business Risk and Controls (CBRC) office which is a small but high impact team tasked to deliver a best in-class conduct, controls and culture for the Investment Bank (IB) and Corporate Bank (CB), working in partnership with our leadership, business aligned control teams and our partners in Infrastructure. You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery and enhancements of Management Board non-financial risk reports, notably CB/IB KRI Dashboards, Metric Inventory, Findings Mgmt. Report and CEAG Report which are submitted to the Management Board monthly. You will drive enhancements in the production process of key reports, establishing relationships with stakeholders across CB, IB and CB/ IB Ops and NFRM.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Produce Reports for Senior Management, notably monthly CB/IB KRI Dashboards, Metric Inventory, Findings Mgmt. Report & CEAG Reports;
  • Source information/data from systems and stakeholders
  • Source commentary/ approvals from stakeholders
  • Chase and escalate where information is missing
  • Draft initial reports for review and validation
  • Engage with Senior Management and other stakeholders to drive improvement and/or additional content
  • Develop & maintain metric inventory and progress gap closure, in partnership with CBRC, Pharos & FCRC (Financial Crime Risk & Compliance) teams.
  • Work with onshore and offshore teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Liaise with 2nd Lines of Defence on various initiatives including framework and policy developments
  • Drive standardization
  • Automate report production, where possible
  • Support Ad Hoc requests
Your skills & experience:
  • Experience in development and productionisation of senior management reports
  • Experience working with and developing dashboards in Tableau and/ or experience with VBA / programming to develop reports in Excel / PDF
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deliver under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous approach
  • Experience in financial services risk-management, and specifically non-financial risk management is a bonus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
