Key Responsibilities
To prepare the stress justification reports for the design solutions as per the Airbus methods & process to resolve the Non Conformances
Study previous solutions for clearing the non-conformances and apply them as required to current requirements
Lead and mentor the team in completing the stress assessments
Coordinate with design assessment team for design solution verifications
Reporting critical technical issues up through functional management
Analysis of production/ in-service non conformities (concession/repairs)
Understand the design solution and provide resolution to the identified non-conformances duly following customer methods and processes
Lead and support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to increase team
Efficiency through methods, process and other capability improvements
Support technical leadership in initiatives like Capability building, skill mapping, up-skilling etc

Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Hands-on execution of Aero-structure Metallic concessions
Ability to provide assessment for complex concessions - capability to manage various failure modes or combination of failure modes for different non-conformances
Demonstrated experience in using ISAMI for various assessment requirements
Hands-on experience of working on the Stress Assessment of concessions for Aircraft fuselage, viz. fuselage components include skin, stringers, frames, center wing box, central/nose fuselage, air inlet, keel beam and assembly
Strong experience in handling assembly line and part concessions with demonstrated experience and skills in handling various mitigation techniques, comprehensive understanding of various assessment methodologies
Good understanding of strength of materials and experience in Hand calculations
Experience in analysis using HSB or ISAMI
Good understanding of design requirements
Good understanding of Manufacturing process and Methods
Good understanding of load path
Having knowledge on concession stress work
Exposure to concessions methods and process.
Tool Knowledge of
ISAMI
and
SAP;
Experience & knowledge of
NASTRAN
&
PATRAN
is added advantage
Knowledge on stress aspects as per standards methods and check stress reading
In depth knowledge on preparation of the stress justification reports for the design solutions as per the Airbus methods & process
Good understanding of Airbus standards (SRM/ASR) of working procedures applicable in fuselage concessions
Ability to understand Load path on Fuselage structure
Having knowledge on Primary and Secondary Structures of Aircraft
Understand the standards and working procedures applicable in concessions.
Having knowledge of ATA53 chapter is mandatory
Having knowledge of GD&T is desirable
