Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1.

Concession & Outlet Operations



Oversee operations of all F&B outlets (e.g., popcorn counters, beverage kiosks, food courts). Ensure timely service, especially during show intervals or peak mall hours. Coordinate with cinema schedules to manage food preparation and rush-hour staffing.
2.

Inventory & Stock Management



Monitor daily stock of food, beverages, and packaging material. Forecast demand during weekends, festivals, and blockbuster releases. Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment without overstocking.
3.

Team Supervision



Hire and train counter staff, cashiers, and food prep team. Monitor performance, grooming standards, and customer interaction. Schedule shifts according to show timings and crowd flow.
4.

Customer Service



Ensure quick and courteous service at all counters. Handle complaints or service issues promptly. Train staff on upselling combos and promotional items.
5.

Compliance & Hygiene



Maintain hygiene standards as per FSSAI or local health regulations. Conduct daily outlet cleaning checks. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices.
6.

Sales & Promotions



Monitor daily sales and implement strategies to increase revenue (e.g., combo offers, limited-time snacks). Coordinate with marketing for food-related campaigns or movie-themed offerings. Track top-selling items and customer preferences.
7.

Cash & Billing Control



Oversee POS systems and cash handling procedures. Ensure all sales are properly recorded and reconciled. Prevent pilferage or misuse of discounts/offers.
8.

Coordination with Mall/Theatre Management



Work closely with mall operations or theatre GMs for event planning, food-related promotions, or space management. Ensure F&B operations align with brand standards of the cinema or mall.

Skills & Experience Required



Experience in

high-volume QSR

(Quick Service Restaurants) or

cinema F&B

. Knowledge of

POS systems

, food hygiene, and

inventory management

. Strong leadership,

customer service

problem-solving

skills. Ability to manage

peak crowd

pressure and tight timelines (especially during intervals or holidays).
