Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver computer lessons as per the prescribed syllabus. Teach basic to advanced computer skills including MS Office, programming languages (like Python, Java, C++), internet safety, and digital tools. Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and manage lab equipment and software installations. Prepare and evaluate students through assignments, projects, practical tests, and examinations. Integrate technology-based teaching tools (smart boards, online resources) into classroom activities. Maintain student records, progress reports, and attendance. Participate in school events, workshops, seminars, and IT-related competitions. Ensure safe and responsible use of computers and internet resources by students. Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues during class hours.

Qualification & Skills:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science/IT or related discipline. B.Ed. preferred (for schools affiliated with CBSE/ICSE). Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in a school or educational institution. Strong command over MS Office, programming languages, and internet applications. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in computer learning.
