Role Overview

The Computer Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science concepts to students, ensuring age-appropriate understanding of digital literacy, basic programming, and responsible use of technology. The role focuses on building strong foundational and practical computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging computer lessons as per the prescribed curriculum for all levels. Teach fundamentals such as computer basics, MS Office tools, internet usage, coding basics, and logical thinking Introduce programming concepts (Scratch, basic Python or similar tools as per grade level) Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure hands-on learning Maintain discipline and ensure safe and responsible use of computer lab resources Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment reports Support integration of technology into classroom learning Guide students on cyber safety and digital ethics Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities Coordinate with academic team for curriculum planning and improvements
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / B.Sc. (CS) or equivalent B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred Knowledge of school-level computer curriculum Proficiency in basic programming, MS Office, and educational software
Experience

Prior teaching experience in a school environment preferred Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply
