About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable

Computer Teacher

to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer science instruction to students across various grade levels, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and staying up-to-date with current technology trends and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Teach students fundamental computer skills, programming languages, and digital literacy. Instruct on software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, etc.). Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through technology integration. Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects; provide feedback and support for improvement. Stay informed about the latest educational technology and integrate new tools into the curriculum. Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve instructional strategies and academic performance. Provide support and guidance for school technology initiatives and extracurricular activities (e.g., robotics club, coding competitions).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred). Valid teaching certification/license (as required by state or local regulations). Proven experience teaching computer science or related technology courses. Strong knowledge of operating systems, programming languages, and educational technology tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and motivating students to explore technology.
