Job Description

Instruction & Curriculum Development:

Design and implement lesson plans that introduce primary-grade students to computer science fundamentals, basic software (like MS Office), digital literacy, and responsible internet usage. Use interactive and hands-on activities to explain concepts and promote creativity and critical thinking. Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-curricular projects that incorporate technology.

Assessment & Feedback:

Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes. Communicate student progress to parents and school administration.

Technology & Lab Management:

Ensure the computer lab is safe, orderly, and well-maintained. Oversee the proper functioning of all hardware and software, including installing necessary updates. Help students and staff troubleshoot technical issues.

Classroom Environment:

Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. Provide individualized attention to students who need extra support. Guide and boost student confidence.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer technology and educational technology tools. Incorporate new technologies and best practices into the curriculum.

Collaboration:

Work with school administration and colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and conferences.
