Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Maintenance & Repair

Diagnosing and fixing issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Replacing faulty components like RAM, hard drives, motherboards, and power supplies Assembling and disassembling computers for repairs

Software Troubleshooting

Installing, updating, and configuring operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) Troubleshooting software issues, crashes, and application errors Removing malware, viruses, and fixing security vulnerabilities

Networking & Connectivity

Setting up and maintaining LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connections Configuring routers, modems, and network security settings Troubleshooting network-related issues

Customer Support & Technical Assistance

Assisting clients with technical issues via phone, email, or in person Providing guidance on best practices for system maintenance Training users on new software or hardware installations

Data Management & Backup

Recovering lost data from hard drives and storage devices Setting up automated backup solutions and cloud storage Ensuring data security and protection against loss

System Upgrades & Installations

Recommending and installing hardware/software upgrades Setting up new systems for offices, businesses, or individuals Ensuring compatibility and optimal performance

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software Problem-solving and analytical skills Familiarity with networking concepts Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
