This is your chance to be part of a company where your work truly matters and where you can make a tangible difference!Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Computer Scientist 1, you will be responsible for: Crafting and implementing robust, scalable software solutionsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and successfully implement new featuresMentoring junior engineers and encouraging a culture of continuous improvementEnsuring flawless integration of various backend servicesParticipating in code reviews and maintaining high coding standardsApplying proven development practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to uphold a high level of software qualityWorking within Scrum or similar agile frameworks to deliver projects on timeRequired Skills/Experience5-7 years of software engineering experience, primarily in front-end developmentStrong skills in solving complex problems using modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, or similar frameworksProven experience building scalable and performant web applications with clean and maintainable codeSolid understanding of front-end architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and component designProficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including pre-processors like SASS/LESS), and responsive designExposure to backend technologies and APIs; Java knowledge is a plusFamiliarity with tools and frameworks like Webpack, Babel, Vite, and testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)Experience with cloud-based integrations, preferably AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront) or FirebaseUnderstanding of web performance, accessibility (a11y), and cross-browser compatibilityPrior experience mentoring junior front-end developersWorked in Agile/Scrum development environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end projectsKnowledge of CDN and performance optimization techniques (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare) is a plusExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
