We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging and practical instruction in computing principles, programming, and digital literacy. This role involves teaching, curriculum planning, and contributing to the overall academic development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach computer science and related subjects (e.g., programming, digital citizenship, computational thinking, robotics) to students in [grades 6-12].
Develop lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments.
Integrate technology effectively into the classroom experience.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in technology and education.
Encourage students to explore and innovate through coding clubs, competitions, or extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to promote cross-curricular learning.
Participate in professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
