Job Description

A Computer Science Teacher is responsible for educating students in computer science principles, including programming, software development, and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction

: Teach various computer science topics such as programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and software development. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.

Assessment

: Evaluate and grade students' assignments, projects, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.

Curriculum Development

: Create and update teaching materials and resources to reflect current trends and advancements in technology. Collaborate with other educators to integrate computer science concepts across the curriculum.

Student Support

: Offer individualized support to students, helping them overcome challenges and fostering their interest in technology. Guide students in applying theoretical knowledge to practical projects.

Extracurricular Activities

: Organize and supervise coding clubs, hackathons, or other technology-related extracurricular activities to enhance students' learning experiences.

Professional Development

: Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science and education technology to continuously improve teaching practices.
