Job Description

SAVPM Senior College is seeking a

dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Science Faculty

who will be responsible for academic teaching as well as managing

Training and Placement (T&P) activities

for students. The candidate should be committed to student development, skill enhancement, and industry readiness.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching

Teach

Computer Science subjects

as per the university syllabus Prepare

lesson plans, study material, and practical sessions

Conduct

lectures, labs, internal assessments, and evaluations

Mentor and guide students academically and professionally Participate in academic meetings, exams, and college activities

Key Responsibilities - Training & Placement

Plan and conduct

skill development, aptitude, and soft-skill training

sessions Coordinate with

companies, recruiters, and industry partners

for campus placements Organize

internships, industrial visits, workshops, and seminars

Maintain

student placement records and reports

Guide students on

resume building, interviews, and career planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Computer Science / IT / related field

Good subject knowledge and

practical teaching ability

Strong

communication and presentation skills

Ability to coordinate with students, faculty, and corporate recruiters Basic knowledge of

MS Office and digital tools

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at

junior or senior college level

Experience in

Training & Placement coordination

(added advantage)
