Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Identifying and resolving hardware (e.g., motherboards, screens) and software issues on computers, laptops, and other devices.

Installation and Configuration:

Setting up new computer systems, installing operating systems, software applications, and configuring them for optimal performance.

Maintenance:

Performing regular maintenance, security updates, and tests to ensure systems are functioning correctly and to prevent future problems.

Technical Support:

Providing technical assistance to users and customers, answering questions, and offering instructions on how to use software or troubleshoot common problems.

Hardware Upgrades:

Replacing damaged or outdated hardware components and performing hardware upgrades to improve performance.

Network Support:

Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and maintaining wired and wireless networks.

System Monitoring:

Checking network backup logs and ensuring the proper function of various computer and network components.
Required Skills and Knowledge

Hardware Knowledge:

Understanding of various computer components like motherboards, hard drives, keyboards, and peripherals.

Software Knowledge:

Proficiency with operating systems, software applications, and troubleshooting techniques.

Diagnostic Skills:

Ability to analyze computer functions and diagnose problems effectively.

Customer Service:

Strong communication skills to interact with users, answer questions, and provide support.

Problem-Solving:

Analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions.

Manual Dexterity:

Proficiency in using small tools to take apart and reassemble computer components.
