A Computer Operator manages and monitors computer systems, hardware (servers, peripherals), and networks, ensuring efficient operation, performing backups, installing updates, troubleshooting issues, and managing data entry and security, often in data centers or server rooms, providing crucial support for an organization's IT backbone. Key duties involve monitoring systems, executing scheduled tasks, handling backups, resolving technical problems, updating software, maintaining logs, and providing basic user support, requiring strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities

• System Monitoring: Oversee system performance, monitor alerts, and manage hardware like servers, printers, and tape drives.
