Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring:

Watch over computer systems, networks, and peripherals for performance issues, errors, or security breaches.

Operation & Execution:

Input commands, run programs, and manage daily operations according to schedules.

Maintenance & Updates:

Perform routine maintenance, install software, apply security patches, and manage hardware upkeep.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions, software bugs, and network connectivity problems.

Data Management:

Handle data entry, backups, storage management, and report generation.

User Support:

Answer user questions, provide guidance, and resolve basic technical issues.

Documentation:

Maintain logs, update procedures, and keep records of system performance.
Typical Work Environment:

Often works from server rooms or data centers. May involve shift work.
Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of computer systems and networks. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Attention to detail. Basic technical proficiency and hardware/software knowledge.
