The Computer Operator is responsible for managing the end-to-end office process including identifying tender opportunities, preparing, compiling documents for GeM and state e-procurement websites. It also involves replying to emails. This role involves close coordination with various internal departments to gather required documents and ensure compliance with tender terms, deadlines, and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify relevant tender opportunities from various government and private portals.
Analyze tender documents, terms, and conditions for compliance and business fit.
Manage the timely submission of bids and related documentation both online and offline.
Maintain detailed records of all submissions, follow-ups, clarifications, and outcomes.
Liaise with clients, and vendors for clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and negotiations.
Monitor deadlines and ensure all compliance certificates, registrations, and pre-qualifications are updated.
Maintain a repository of documents for audit and reference purposes.
Ensure communication ( verbal/written) is done in a proper manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate or Diploma in Business, Commerce, Management, or related fields preferred. (mandatory)
Should be proficient in English ( spoken and written, this is the key point)
Prior experience (1-3 years) in documentation management, verbal and written communication and office organisation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable working with GeM and/or other e-tender portals.
Excellent organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and coordination abilities.
Knowledge of government and private tendering procedures is an advantage.
