We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible
Computer Operator
to oversee and manage computer systems, handle data entry, maintain records, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of IT and office systems. The role involves monitoring hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and supporting staff with basic technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor computer systems, servers, and networks.
Perform daily data entry, processing, and system updates.
Maintain and update company databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
Handle printing, scanning, emailing, and documentation tasks.
Monitor system performance and report technical issues to the IT team.
Perform routine backups and ensure data security.
Provide basic troubleshooting for software/hardware issues.
Support office staff with technical tasks and IT-related queries.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as a Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator, or similar role.
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic IT tools.
Familiarity with operating systems, databases, and networking is an advantage.
Good typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
