Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Networking & Hardware Engineer to join our team in Bowbazar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, networking devices, and related hardware. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support both hardware and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment.

Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to hardware, operating systems, LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.

Manage and monitor network performance, ensuring security and smooth operation.

Handle installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.

Provide technical support to end-users and ensure minimum downtime.

Diagnose and repair hardware components including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, and peripherals.

Regularly update systems with necessary patches, antivirus, and security measures.

Maintain records of repairs, system performance, and IT assets.

Assist in setting up printers, scanners, and other office equipment.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and network-related services.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Computer Hardware & Networking / IT or related field.

Proven experience as a Hardware & Networking Engineer or IT Support Engineer.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Windows/Linux OS.

Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN setup, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and routers.

Ability to diagnose and repair hardware & networking issues quickly.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, N+, MCSE, or equivalent.

Experience in managing small to medium-sized office IT infrastructure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
