Computer Lab Technician

IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain

desktop computers, laptops, printers, projectors, and related peripherals

in the computer lab. Provide

technical support to students, faculty, and staff

for hardware/software issues. Perform

regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

of lab equipment. Install and update

operating systems, applications, and antivirus software

. Ensure

network connectivity

(LAN, Wi-Fi) and assist in troubleshooting internet-related issues. Maintain proper

inventory records of hardware, software licenses, and accessories

. Assist in

lab setup for practical classes, workshops, and examinations

. Enforce

lab rules and IT policies

to maintain a secure and productive environment. Coordinate with the IT team for

upgrades, backups, and preventive maintenance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / bachelor's in

computer science, IT, or related field

. Knowledge of

Windows/Linux operating systems and MS Office tools

. Familiarity with

networking basics (LAN, IP configuration, Wi-Fi, printers, etc.)

. Hands-on skills in

PC assembly, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in

Hardware & Networking / CompTIA A+ / CCNA (basic level)

. Prior experience in managing

educational institution computer labs

. Knowledge of

server systems, virtualization, and backup tools

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
