Monitor and maintain the operation of computers, printers, and other lab equipment.
Assist users with software applications, login issues, internet access, and printing.
Ensure lab rules and policies are followed to maintain a respectful and academic-focused environment.
Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software problems.
Keep the lab clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., paper, toner).
Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions to IT support staff.
Assist in the setup and shutdown of lab equipment daily or during scheduled maintenance.
Provide guidance to students on the use of educational software, tools, and online resources.
Keep usage logs, attendance records, and maintenance checklists up to date.
Qualifications
:
Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ongoing or completed coursework in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
Experience
:
Prior experience in a computer lab, helpdesk, or IT support environment is an advantage.
Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft Office, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining equipment and data integrity.
