Job Summary:

The Part-Time Computer Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science and IT subjects to ICSE and CBSE students at a computer training centre. The role involves providing academic support, practical training, and exam preparation guidance as per school syllabus standards. The teacher should create an engaging and supportive learning environment to help students strengthen both their theoretical knowledge and practical computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Support

Teach computer science topics as per

ICSE/CBSE syllabus

for Grades 1-8. Cover concepts such as computer fundamentals, office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), programming (Python, Java, C++), HTML, and networking basics. Help students prepare for

school exams and board practicals

Practical Training

Conduct hands-on lab sessions to build real-world computer proficiency. Guide students through projects, coding exercises, and digital assignments. Ensure students understand both

software and hardware basics

Lesson Planning & Evaluation

Prepare lesson plans and worksheets tailored to students' grade levels. Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, and assignments. Provide personalized feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Student Engagement

Create an interactive and motivating learning environment. Encourage curiosity, creativity, and logical thinking through computer-based learning activities.

Administrative & Technical Support

Maintain proper use of lab equipment and ensure systems are functional. Assist with installing software or troubleshooting minor technical issues when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in

Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications

(BCA, MCA, B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Tech, or M.Tech).

B.Ed.

is preferred (especially if preparing students for school-based exams).

Experience:

1-3 years of teaching experience (school or coaching centre). Freshers with good computer knowledge and teaching skills are also welcome.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of ICSE & CBSE Computer Applications/Computer Science syllabus. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, HTML). Strong practical knowledge of MS Office and basic troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

Good communication and presentation skills. Patience and ability to handle students of different age groups. Punctuality and commitment to scheduled classes.

Work Schedule:

Part-Time:

2-4 hours per day or as per batch timing (morning/evening/weekend). May involve both

individual and group classes
