We are looking for a skilled and reliable Compounding Machine Operator with hands-on experience in processing Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE). The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining compounding equipment, ensuring batch accuracy, and maintaining product quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor twin-screw extruders or other compounding machines for TPE production.
Prepare and mix raw materials as per defined formulations and batch sheets
Adjust process parameters including temperature, screw speed, and feed rates for optimal output
Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure product consistency
Maintain production records, logs, and report deviations if any
Execute machine start-up, cleaning, shutdown, and preventive maintenance routines
Coordinate with the Quality and R&D teams for process improvements
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free working environment
Required Qualifications & Skills:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in polymer compounding, especially with TPE, TPV, or similar materials
Strong understanding of compounding processes and extrusion machinery
Ability to interpret technical instructions, batch formulations, and process settings
Familiarity with color and additive dispersion, feeding systems, and basic troubleshooting
Physically fit to handle material loading/unloading and capable of working in a hot production environment
Attention to detail, good work ethic, and teamwork mindset
Experience with automated or gravimetric dosing systems
Exposure to ISO/TS quality systems
Prior experience in color masterbatch or performance material compounding
