Responsibilities:

Good Knowledge and working experience in all types of Component attributes / selection.

BoM Scrub, FFF Alternates suggestion, Life-cycle and Obsolescence Management. Identify Product Life-cycle, Obsolete, EOL, Compliance, Supply-Chain issues and suggest alternates. Sound working knowledge in RoHS/REACh/Conflict Minerals and other Chemical compliance Regulations (IMDS, PFOS, TSCA, DecaBDE etc). Strong working experience in recommending Electrical, Electronics and Electro-Mechanical alternates for all threats. Review, understand and process PCN/ECNs internally. Loading BoMs to Sourcing Tools like Quotewin for RFQ and process the data on regular basis. Must have the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, correspondence, and in person. Coordinates assigned project with engineering and RFQ team to assure accurate and timely delivery. Manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet expected timelines. Communicate with sales and reps for any missing proposal information and follow-ups. Review and analyze material costs, routings, labour, custom tooling, and all other cost aspects of quotes. Assist with various other duties as assigned like BOM preparation/comparisons and data management. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on environmental matters. Proficient in Excel, Access and D-365 Utilities Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Motivated and possessing the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
