Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws such as:
Shops & Establishment Act
PF, ESI, PT, LWF
Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Maternity Benefit Act
Handle registrations, renewals, and amendments for statutory licenses.
Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and returns as per state and central regulations.
2. Audits & Documentation
Prepare and manage compliance audit documents (internal & external).
Coordinate with auditors and government inspectors during inspections.
Maintain organized records--PF, ESI challans, muster rolls, wage registers, leave records, etc.
3. HR Policy Compliance
Ensure implementation of HR policies across departments.
Monitor adherence to company code of conduct, POSH guidelines, and grievance procedures.
Identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
4. Vendor & Contractor Compliance
Verify contractor compliance (PF, ESI, wage sheets, agreements).
Track vendor documentation and ensure their adherence to statutory norms.
5. Reporting & Monitoring
Generate monthly compliance reports for HR leadership.
Track deadlines for statutory payments, filings, and renewals.
Maintain compliance dashboards and audit trackers.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration/MSW
PG Diploma or certification in Labor Laws / Compliance (preferred).
Experience
1-5 years of experience in HR compliance, statutory compliance, or payroll compliance.
Experience with Karnataka labor laws is an added advantage.
Kannada is mandatory
Technical Skills
Knowledge of HRMS or payroll software.
Familiarity with PF/ESI portals, Shram Suvidha, and state labor portals.
